K2 Cocky is once again proving impossible to predict. The controversial Hudson Valley, New York-based artist has transformed what originally began as a free Bandcamp EP into a sprawling double dance/electronica album overnight.
Titled Spiced Out, the newly expanded project is now exclusively available as a free/pay-what-you-want download on Bandcamp. The surprise update arrives less than a month after K2 Cocky appeared to tease retirement with the release of Pi$$y Fre$h, and only two months after dropping the critically praised and stylistically eclectic Spiced Up (With Balloons) EP.
What was initially presented as a smaller experimental release has now evolved into a full 2xLP experience featuring 29 brand-new tracks. The project dives headfirst into a chaotic blend of Gen Z rage rap, experimental electronica, dance music, and techno influences — pushing the artist further into genre-defying territory.
Known for underground cult releases such as Mental TRILLness and The Awful Truth, K2 Cocky has built a reputation over the years for provocative lyricism, horrorcore aesthetics, and relentless output. The rapper first gained attention through an explosion of releases during 2017 and has continued cultivating a fiercely independent fanbase through self-released projects and unconventional rollouts.
Despite recently hinting at stepping away from music, K2 Cocky appears to be entering another highly productive creative era. The artist has already confirmed that a heavily anticipated professional studio album, Not of This World 2, is scheduled for release on August 7.
Longtime fans will not be surprised by the unconventional release strategy. K2 Cocky has frequently been known to upload or leak material early through official Bandcamp pages, often bypassing traditional streaming rollouts in favor of direct fan engagement.
