Hudson Valley, New York rapper K2 Cocky has surprised fans with a new 14-track mixtape, Pi$$y Fre$h, arriving shortly after his critically praised EP Spiced Up (With Balloons) was released in March. The project showcases a mix of gritty street anthems like “Bambu” and “Gettin’” alongside atmospheric trap tracks such as “Wanna Go” and “$.”
Known for his horrorcore-inspired style and provocative lyricism, the controversial LGBTQ rapper continues to push boundaries on the release, touching on themes like childhood bullying, personal struggles, and the realities of the rap industry. The mixtape also features collaborations with Maradah, SYMPHO, and Damian Lewd, both notable names in the underground LGBTQ rap scene.
While Pi$$y Fre$h gives fans a collection of b-sides and outtakes, it also hints at a new creative era for the prolific artist, who even teases a possible retirement in some of the project’s themes.
Fans are now looking ahead to K2 Cocky’s upcoming studio album Not of This World 2, scheduled for release on August 7. Pi$$y Fre$h is available to stream on Spotify and YouTube Music.
